Diana Kapusta

Office Assistant/Insurance Benefits Coordinator

I’ve been with the Hardwick Dental Group for 7 years. I must admit that I had some hesitations about working in a dental office. I had experience working in a medical office environment but never in a dental office. Having some phobias of my own when it comes to dentistry I wasn’t sure I could do it. I think it took me less than two weeks to set the doubts free. I enjoy working with everyone at the Hardwick Dental Group and truly feel part of something very special. I have two grown children and a grandson. I enjoy my grandson so much. I can't get enough of him. Outside the office I enjoy different genres of dancing, gardening, reading, baking and walking. Trying my hand at something crafty is always fun too.

Eric J. Richter

DMD

I received my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at St Lawrence University and my doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia PA. I am a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Association. I am grateful for the wonderful staff that I have and their dedication to our patients and their dental care. Hardwick really is one of the hidden treasurers of the Northeast Kingdom and I am very happy to say I’ve been able to be part of it for nearly thirty-six years. I've been able to apply the vast education that I've received over the years to my practice and the patients that I work with. I'm proud to have a nice office with many digital technologies and upgrades. I'd like to think the office is updated constantly but I leave that for others to discover. I have an easy going and relaxed staff who are very helpful and I'm very thankful of them.

Karen Gates

Registered Dental Assistant

As a dental assistant at the Hardwick Dental Group since the fall of 2002, I have worked closely with Dr. Richter, our staff and patients. We recognize that it is not always easy for patients to seek dental treatment; fear and anxiety can be very powerful and prevents those who need care in getting it. I take pride in the role that I play to ensure that the wellness of each and every patient is met both while they’re in our office and once they’re home. When I am not assisting chairside, I am busy ordering our clinical inventory; maintaining our dental related equipment; I also keep in contact with our patients and oral surgeons; From time to time you may find me working with our appointment corrdinator in the front office. Living, working, going to college and having my family here in Vermont has been a joy for me.

Kristine Peeler

Registered Dental Hygienist

I grew up in Hartlend, Vermont and currently live in Walden. I received my degree in dental hygiene from the University of Vermont. I have been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years. I've been working with Dr. Richter and the Hardwick Dental Group for the past 10 years. I really love working here and enjoy our patients.

Philomena “Phil” Kemp

Registered Dental Assistant

I have lived in Vermont with my family for the past two years and in 2007 joined the team at Hardwick Dental Group. I have worked as a certified and expanded function dental assistant for over twenty years. I worked in hospitals under the residency programs and in that time experienced every aspect of dentistry including oral surgery, periodontal procedures, operating room assisting, intra oral photography, impression taking to name just a few.

Rita G. Richardson

Practice Administrator

I have been the Practice Administrator for the Hardwick Dental Group for nearly 13 years. My only experience or knowledge of the “dental world” came from my personal experiences as a patient. Finding the need to work closer to home I willingly accepted the position Dr. Richter offered me and the rest they say is history. I can honestly say it has been an experience.
