Our Services
Hardwick Dental provides
a wide range of dental services. Every service we offer is delivered with
the utmost in professionalism, friendly, personal attention and exceptional
detail. Here is a brief overview:
- Bridges - Bridges are tooth replacements that are attached to adjoining
natural teeth. Fixed bridges and bonded bridges are the two most
common kinds.
- Bleaching - Bleaching teeth can greatly lighten and whiten surface
stains caused by tobacco, coffee, tea, food, and simple aging.
- Cleaning & Maintenance - Polishing and cleaning away plaque buildup
from your teeth is critical to keeping your teeth, gums and mouth
healthy. A properly cleaned mouth can alleviate issues of halitosis
(bad breath)
and can contribute to a cleaner, whiter, brighter smile.
- Crowns - Crowns (often called "caps") are used to cover
teeth that have been weakened by decay around fillings or teeth that
are severely
damaged, decayed, chipped, discolored, or misaligned. Crowns may
also be required after a root canal or when a tooth cracks or breaks.
- Dental Implants - Dental Implants are artificial tooth supports that
are surgically set into the jaw. Implants are used in combination
with bridges, dentures, and crowns to replace any number of missing
teeth.
- Dentures - Dentures are sets of artificial teeth set into plastic
frameworks that rest directly on the gums.
- Fillings - When tooth decay creates a cavity or hole, we can typically
fill it in with a long lasting, durable material.
- Radiographs - By taking a detailed "picture" of
your teeth, we can quickly assess their condition and what it will
take to keep
your teeth and gums in tip top condition.
- Root Canals - If one of your tooth's "pulp" ("pulp" contains
nerves and blood vessels) becomes infected or damaged because of
decay or injury, a root canal treatment is often the only way to save
your
tooth and repair the damage, as well as keeping the adjoining teeth
and gums from aquiring the infection.
- Veneers - Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells that adhere to
the surfaces of prepared teeth in much the same way that false fingernails
are applied. Veneers correct or camouflage severe discoloration,
damage,
misalignment, or teeth that are poorly shaped.
- Bonding - Bonding restores teeth that are chipped,
cracked, misaligned, or discolored. A plastic resin somewhat like
putty is used
to rebuild the teeth and make them look natural. Harwick Dental
employs a state-of-the-art
CAD/CAM porcelain system for direct placement of porcelain
crowns, inlays and veneers.
